WHAT IS VEBweb? AND WHY DO MOM & POP CARE?

VEBweb is the marketing arm of Dr. Jim Kinnebrew (below), the owner of FishFoodBooks.Org, an independent online Christian bookstore powered by Spread The Word.  Jim first became interested in helping "indie" bookstore owners when he learned of Spread The Word's remarkable potential for such an application.  This interest resulted in VEBweb: The Virtually Endless Bookshelf.

As a bibliophile since his teen conversion to Christ, and as a theological educator today, Jim has always loved the "Mom & Pop" Christian bookstores.  "A decade or two ago, they all had their own special feel," he says, "but those personalities have been lost to the 'cookie cutter' paradigm of the corporate chains."  VEBweb's mission is to help "Mom & Pop" succeed in an increasingly competitive marketplace.  "The Christian community will lose something very special if those two don't make it," says "Dr. VEB."
